Women’s Under 20s
Status & Ambition
In 2026, the Tigers launched their first female team, and after 12 rounds sit on top of the Division 3 table. The club has a team list of 35 players, and seen a large influx in interest continuing across the season.
For this reason - the club is looking to expand into 2-3 teams for the 2027 season, complied of 2 senior women’s teams, and potentially a under 20s team (subject to league requirements).
Our new home at Rozelle Parklands with female facilities and increased ground availability. Once settled into our new home, we can work to establishing a safe environment with a welcoming culture for a women’s senior team for two consistent seasons, and then progress to the under 20s. This is our realistic medium-term plan.

Balmain AFC nominated a Senior Women’s team in 2026.
Recruitment has already concluded for the season, but will remain looking for new female players, ready to play Senior Women’s football in 2027.
An introductory offer will be in place for at least Season 1, this being $95, including full playing kit (socks & shorts), player insurance & custom training top.
