our History
The Balmain Women’s Football Club formed in 1999 and entered the Sydney Women's AFL competition in 2000 as a foundation member. Playing the first year as Glebe they would go on to become the Balmain Tigers in 2001 and then the Dockers in 2008. The club would claim back to back premierships in 2011, 2012 and finish runners up in 2013. Now back as the Balmain Tigers again, we are preparing to re-enter the league in the 2024 season of the Sydney AFL competition.
