Presentation Night Award Winners

Presentation Night for 2013 was a great success with all 3 teams well represented at Marrickville Tennis Club. There was a lot of salad and the fashion kit was good from some (Animal Craig), not so good from others (Sammy ‘Grippo’ Wallwork).

The evening started well with the U18 awards with young Billy ‘Shippers’ Shipway and little Bondi Jesse Cass claiming U18 B&F Runner Up and Milton Morrison Trophies respectively.

All of the 2s players turned up to see Milky accept the B&F Runner Up Trophy and in a terrific first season, Damien Barbara collected the Bill Murphy Trophy.

The highlight of the evening was the First Grade awards and it was no surprise to see the big men taking top honours. Krisso Ericson was the Firsts runner up in a season where he was also in the Sydney AFL Team of the year and a member of the Sydney AFL Rep team.

Selby Lee-Steere polled well in the Phelan Medal, played in the Sydney AFL Rep team, a member of the Sydney AFL Team of the year, led the vote count from start to finish in a dominant season to win the coveted L.C. Lock Trophy as First grade Best and Fairest.

Congratulations to all award winners!
